Just no words. DISGUSTING!!!
I have been a waitress myself, I can understand that kitchen staff can make life very difficult for you, but this was ridiculous.
The waitress (Patience) was friendly and drinks came not quick, but not too slow either.
We ordered the specials for drinks (brandy, whiskey or vodka) and a focacia to start. Once we noticed the food takes long we ordered mains as well.
Keep in mind, we got there before 8 and it was not busy.
We waited almost 2 hours for a simple focacia which was wrong and then another 30 min for it to be rectified.
We ate that.... we were so hungry by that point... but it tasted horrible...
Our food came, the one order had cheddar cheese on after specifying and ensuring she understood that no cheddar can be used. (You would think she learnt her lesson with the first focacia that was sent back)
The food was horrible and we couldn't eat and pay for another thing that was just not up to standard. Not even a high standard, just a sub par standard.
We asked for the manager and was told the manager is not interested to come. We asked if the owner was there and requested to see him and he was also not interested.
When we were ready to leave we were charged for every single peace of food that the waitress got wrong along with a bottle of whiskey.
The waitress' attitude was " you need to pay your bill and leave". One of the ladies in our company went to look for the manager who didn't even know about the problems on the bill and assisted in some of the overcharges. The waitress insisted on some of the overcharges to stay. When we asked her about it, she had a horrible attitude saying " you need to pay your bill and leave".
I wanted to leave and only pay for what she got right... if I had cash on me that is what would have happened. But she would not let us leave until we pay for the full bill, mistakes and all.
We paid the full bill without the tip.
I have never seen such unprofessional, rude or disgusting behavior or service in my life and I've seen a lot.
I will never recommend this place to anyone, not just because of the bad service and food, but for all the underaged children being ****med without even knowing because they are so drunk. They won't even have the coherence to understand how these waiters are overcharging them for things they never had. They can't even rely on food as they will be sloshed before the food even gets there.
