Vellamore Hotel spa-worst wedding reception

We attended a family wedding on Sunday 16 Dec 2018. Venue is stunning. Food and service was terrible. We waited over 2 hours for our food to be served...they ran out of salad and when we complained to head waiter for salad they miraculous produced salad that someone else had already tucked into. We found the olive pips hidden under wilted lettuce and the other plated salad was rotten. Their waiters are slow lethargic to respond and didn't seem to understand English because they just couldn't bring what we asked for. We've had 4 family weddings in last two years and this is the worst place we've had the mis fortune to eat at. Do not spoil your special day and book here. Not worth the money they charge. Stunning venue but no substance.
