Velile tinto collision with SA Home Loans to *******ly charge fees on clients

Good morning My name is Pagel Tsagane, I would like to lay a complain about SA Home Loans and it's legal representative velile tinto.

I have made an arrangement with SA Home Loans to pay double my installment in order to keep the account from the arrears. Despite this effort Sa home loans allow their lawyers to serve me with legal documents that I'm being charged on the account.

On August I received an email from tanje swanepoel from velile tinto, representing Sa home loans. She stated that I have to attend court proceedings on the 25 August 2020 in connection with my home loan.

I referred her to SA Home Loans as there was an arrangement with shaizma mohamed about the matter. I had to call her as she was not replying to my email while to court date was looming.clearly it was not considered as urgent to her as she just said she sent an email to sa home loans and still waiting for response.

I further contacted Sa home loans and the consultant in charge refuted the arrangement I made with her, saying that i only made an appointment for one month, therefore the court proceedings should continue. I had to send an email again to rearrange for my account payments. She then acknowledged my arrangement and further stated that she would also contact their lawyers to draft an affidavit and the arrangement for me to sign.

On the 25 August 2020 I received a call from velile tinto asking me where I was as they were about to start with the court proceedings. I asked the lady why they were in court as I was still waiting for them to send me the documents to have to sign.she said she emailed me a day before the court date and if I don't sign within 2 hours then she will proceed with the court judgment. I pleaded with her to give me time to read the documents before I sign but she insisted on whether I sign or else she was proceeding.

I had to sign the documents that were stating that I should pay R10000 within four days, failing to do so they were to resume with the judgment immediately.

I paid the arranged R10000 from then, only to find out that velile tinto is still charging me legal fees even though I was adhering to the arrangement.

I have raised the matter with SA Home Loans and their lawyers a numerous times, but this keeps on happening.

Sa home loans fails to explain why I m being charged legal fees and their lawyers are simply ignoring my emails. I'm pleading with the ombudsman to help me with this matter, as it is affecting my arrangement with SA Home Loans and the effort I'm trying to make to keep this account up to date.
