VEGA _ Very *************, R75 000+ for what?

It seems like I'm not the only one with communication problems here. Its been more than 2 months since the start of my query.

Basically I wanted my existing diploma which I acquired in 2008 to be verified by SAQA (for international work purposes), who came back to me and stated that they don't verify non NQF level diplomas. Back then in 2007 already VEGA sold the package to me promising a NQF level qualification with international recognition (also duly stated on their website). So to come back to the SAQA situation they advised me to speak to VEGA directly (AUG. 2020). I proceeded to do so, after many delays and promises of getting back to me they didn't, I kept phoning and spoke to one of the sales persons there called Michelle. I later found out she was apparently the incorrect person to talk to, as reported by Sade (VEGA). Michelle told me that VEGA does not store their proof of qualification / student information from back before 2012 (how can this be if I need proof for validation, all institutions must have proof of your qualification if there are future investigations into the validity). Nonetheless Michelle advised me to talk to MIE which is an authorisation authority directly linked to tertiary education. Did so and after paying to investigate my situation MIE also returned and said they cannot help further and I must take it up with VEGA. I again had many problems with VEGA getting back to me. I then proceeded to phone IIE (INDEPENDENT INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION) linked to ADVITEC. IIE then contacted VEGA which eventually came back to me. Here I spoke to Sade who promised they will sort it out. It has now been more than 3 weeks after I spoke to Sade initially. According to Sade VEGA must find proof of my qualification, and that there are problems with their filing. Nobody is getting back to me and sorting out this problem. (AUG 2020 - OCT 2020).

My time is being wasted and running out for my overseas work.

I now sit with the only other option of publicly exposing VEGA. I would not recommend studying there if you Pay over R75 000 for a year course being promised NQF level and international recognition for you qualification and then it not be so. They lack integrity, and communication skills. I furthermore find them ************* and a waste of time and money.

I will also report this to the Department of higher education.
