Worst after service ever

I purchased a hair iron last year, after 6 months of use it started tugging and breaking my hair. I contacted head office and a rep contacted me to go to a affiliated salon to get it tested, the salon confirmed that the iron was deffective and reported to the rep immediately in my presence. The rep then responded saying that it would be repalced. It has been 5 months since then with multiple follow ups with no avail, eventually two weeks ago the rep took the iron and sent it for repairs and came back saying that there is nothing wrong with it. The iron still has the problem and the company should not have created the expectation of a replacemnt stringing me for 5 months thereafter still leaving me with a deffective hair iron. It is basically a glorified door stoppper as it cannot used
