Poor quality product

My Veaudry hairdryer is just over 2 years old and the heat control switch burnt out. Funny thing is I don't even use it every day, maybe twice a week. I was simply offered 20% discount to buy a new one - how ridiculous that it can't be repaired. I've had a Philips hairdryer for over 10 years now and I used it almost every day (still going strong). I regret buying this brand and won't recommend it to anyone.
