No service, just a runaround!

Very poor service from Webway (formerly VE Host). I requested the transfer of 2 of my domains away from Webway to a new hosting provider. Both domains were .uk domains. I was first informed that I would have to renew both domains before they could be transferred. Both renewal dates were 6 months away! After a week of waiting, (I did not renew the domains!) I was informed that the registrar needed me to contact them directly, which I did. The registrar obviously would not deal with me as I was not their client. Back to Webway, and was given the runaround for almost a second week! Finally I had an email from a fellow called Gideon from Webway. He was extremely helpful, but in the end I still needed to work directly with the .uk TLD registrar, which cost me almost R800 to actually have the domains transferred myself! Thank you Gideon for your honesty and help. Apart from this one man, Webway's service was shocking! I am definitely closing my account with them.
