VBTECH Mosselbay- Bad Service
I wrote the below WhatsApp message to VBTech Mosselbay. The guy only response is that he awaits some engineer. He is being waiting for over 2 months. If by chance your insurance direct you to VBTECH in,Mosselbay, i can only advise to seek for an second opinion. My timeline, end of November 2024 my bakkie broke down. We received a quote from VBTECH in Mosselbay. Which we accepted. They requested 50% of payment before work started, we paid. They requested full payment which we paid. This now in January 2025. The bakkie only drove less than 2 km, than it broke down. It's now 27 February 2025, 3 months after the fact.
I will track their performance on hellopeter.

It is important to note that our bakkie did not even make it three kilometers out of your mechanical workshop before breaking down again, which calls into question the quality of workmanship. It has now been two days since one of the brothers mentioned that he would discuss the matter with his sibling and provide me with feedback. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a response, which is quite concerning.
To reiterate, we are currently dealing with the replacement of a timing belt on a Nissan NP200, a process that has now extended into the second month after the Christmas break not taking the month before the break. I believe it is imperative to begin a countdown to see how long it will take for VBTech Mosselbay to get the vehicle back on the road. Alternatively, I am waiting to see how long it will take for VBTech to proactively reach out to me with an update.
Additionally, I have informed my lawyer to be on standby after the next 30 days. This measure is necessary because I have already paid the full amount due for the service, and I expect a level of service that reflects this payment.

The owner returned from a business trip and just said he would give me feedback. The feedback never came. According to my local mechanic, my bakkie could be fixed in a day. He also stated he would any time of day take a trip to Mosselbay to look into the works of my bakkie, because it became evident that VB Tech is not the mechanics they said they were supposed to be. Now I am contemplating getting my money bakkie, paying my local mechanic to fix my bakkie.

We entered May 2025, and 6 months down the line, and guest what? VBTECH MOSSELBAY not delivered my bakkie. How bad can a mechanical service get. If this continues it will maybe take them a year to replace a belt. Unless they so *********** and damage the bakkie beyond repair, for that reason cannot deliver my bakkie. This is really scary mechanical service.
Will i be able to trust their work thereafter remains to be seen.
