Alarms, intercoms, cameras - no good

Wayne Smit at Vault Security came to help us when the alarm and security system, house and outbuildings, were struck by lightning. Initially all went fairly well, except that we had to wait for longer than a moth before the intercom worked. He the had to install a camera, for which he charged me R2500, plus installation fees. After a month that the camera worked only two or three times for 10 minutes, and a couple of efforts from him to make it work, I insisted on having the box and warranty details. He told me he threw them away. I insisted that he came to remove the camera and install one that works. He came to remove it, but then disappeared. He also had to set about 8 remotes for me. I had to call in another security firm to redo them. Wouldn't work. Didn't answer calls, emails, nothing. I gave him 3 months, and warned that I will open a case if he didn't respond. Of course he didn't. Please be cautious when you deal with him, or his company. Guess he's already changed the name of the company.
