Annoyed Tenant

I signed a lease agreement with Vartrust in January of 2022. January 2023 when we did the annual inspection, it was noted that the oven had still not been sorted out since it was noted on the pre occupancy inspection in January 2022. I've been asking the agent as well as the landlord to please sort out this issue and I am still waiting. I have withheld payment of the electricity bill from the month before a prepaid meter was installed and today the agent told me that I need to pay as it will affect my record. "it won't look good on your record". What doesn't look good for the Vartrust record is that they clearly don't care about the tenants but only that they get their rentals in. I've suffered for more than 12 months and it will now affect my record because I'm speaking out. I've paid rent every month and now I'm the bad person. What are my rights?
