Varta warranty not honoured by Battery Inn

Car battery was giving problems. Took it to Battery Inn where it was bought on 4 separate occasions. This was one month before 2 year warranty expired. Each time told that the battery was perfect. In the interim spent R2500 on looking for alternative problems. Also phoned Varta re Battery Inn, only to be told they have no control over resellers.<br> Battery Inn supposedly sent battery to Varta for testing. I mailed Varta them but got no response. Battery came back with clean bill of health. <br> Took battery to Tiger Wheel and Tyre. Immediately confirmed that battery had internal damage to plates which makes sense as charging over night resulted in flat battery by end of next day. They used testing kit not used by Battery Inn.<br> Varta 2 year warranty means nothing, and Battery Inn are cheap for a reason - stay away!
