not refunding my deposit

In the two and a half years of staying the Riviera varsity lodge, the lodge did not struggle one day to receive my monthly rent.<br> I was in fact ahead with my payments. I also spent R1000 to install a security gate at the complex. without any compensation for this.<br> When it came time to move out, an amount of R1000 was deducted from my deposit for having to paint the place out.<br> Now a month after moving out, I am still struggling to get my deposit and extra money refunded.<br> The lodge even sent me an email to say that it would be paid out before the 15th august which has still not happened.<br> I am not very impressed with the Riviera varsity lodge.
