Photography Enquiries

I'm a Durban based photographer. I get regular enquiries off my website from your students wanting quotes for photography coverage as part of their projects, the enquiry always says the same thing, that it’s an event at the ICC for 500 delegates. I’ve recently been asked by one of them to get additional quotes for services such as live feed cameras, big screens and on-site printing. I spent an entire morning and my phone bill calling and mailing other event suppliers, negotiating prices and making arrangements. At no stage during all the communication do your students inform me that it isn’t a real event. Why are your students not being told to be honest upfront and say that it is for a Varsity project? If they did so I would be happy to help, but to pose as genuine paying clients is dishonest. I trust that action will be taken to prevent this from happening again.
