Endless problems with Varsity college management.

Whenever I have dealt with anything to do with varsity college management, I am always left with a sour taste in my mouth.

On the 12th of January when registration opened, I arrived at Varsity college Durban north to register. After about a 3 hour wait, I was able to fill out my contract and "register". I have received an academic bursary as well as a loyalty bursary, upon applying for them, I was told that they can not give me both the bursaries and that I have to choose one. Upon complaining, the student helping me register went to double check with finance. Finance told him that the bursaries are capped at R6,000. Classic varsity college style, the information received from the person helping me register as well as the information given to us from finance was wrong, but I had to go through 5 email conversations with 2 different people to find this out and receive the correct information. I did ask them to phone me back and left my name and number, but that wasn't attended to either.

I thought the nightmare was over when my father signed the contract and sent it through to varsity college. However, I received a phone call from varsity college a few days later telling me because of the "POPI act", my registration is useless and I have to register online & that they understand the frustration of waiting in the line for 3 hours for no reason. I told them I am happy to sign a POPI act contract allowing them to use my information, but their way of me signing, is by me giving them my Varsity college password, which I did. A few days later I received an SMS from varsity college saying they have received my registration & I will receive confirmation via my email when my registration is complete. I would love to check my emails, but I can no longer get into my Varsity college SharePoint and I am not surprised my password doesn't work anymore. At least I'm registered (hopefully).
