Refund

I registered at varsity college waterfall and we had informed them prior to registering that we will apply for a loan which will cover the remaining tuitution fees . Unfortunately the loan wasnt approved . we had to cancel the admission as my parents did not have money to continue paying .We informed the school and they said we must write a letter stating the reason of cancellation . After that i was told they will help me apply for a financial assistance , which they did .. They called and told me i got the bursary . Sadly it would not cover everything including accomodation, I let the know that i have to turn down the bursary since it could not cover everything . They did not say anything for weeks . After that i received an email which stated that my mother is liable to pay 50 % meaning R 33500 which she does not have . Where is my mother going to get that kind of money when she clearly stated that her reason for cancelling the admission is because she will not be able to continue paying since the bank cannot help .. All we asked is a refund for the money we had already paid but they are telling us that my mother is liable to pay R 33500 which she does not have..
