Poor Service and Information System

VC does not offer support to their students & do not apply policies that they have put in place. My daughter worked throughout the COVID lockdown period, as she works in the front line at a hospital while completing her honours part-time.

She app**** to rewrite one of her exams in December after receiving an email.

Part of email "Here is some good news: there is still a chance for you to pass the module and take one step further in your degree studies. I extend to you the opportunity to apply for the Safety Net opportunity. The Safety Net opportunity will allow you to write an exam in January".

She had to apply twice as the first time it was declined with no feedback or reason. On the second application, she has received no feedback until today (4 January 2021), with exams on Friday (08 January 2021). There was no instruction, process or confirmation on the message she received today with a rewrite on Friday.

The message just states she must book a ticket. This has been the case the entire year and quite concerning that she will not get a response until the last minute. Please advise your students timeously as they need to make prior arrangements!!
