Varsity College is pathetic and don’t waste your money on a “Private” institution when you get less than public service from.

I would give this a zero star if I could.

As a private institution you would think that they would be more prepared dealing with assessments seeing that we have been dealing with COVID for over a year now. Firstly, it was stated to us that we have not had a cluster outbreak and therefore the campus can stay open, is that what you’re waiting for? Multiple people getting sick ay campus and taking it home to their families in Order for you to actually be proactive?

You are part of the problem!

A petition was created to write exams on line/take home and they claimed that only a very low percentage had signed it so that the few of us that had complained aren’t going to be heard. They didn’t take into consideration that the number of students that actually did sign it was the students that are writing assessments on campus as not all students at the institute are writing on campus assessments, most do have take home assessments.

Due to the raise in cases, the students made a plea and their solution was to give us the option to write our exams in December AFTER second semester exams, how is that solution for the students?

They went further to say that if schools do actually close we would still have to write in December or take home assessments in December because they need to change the current papers.

Surely as a private institution, you know that we are currently living with uncer*****y and not in a fantasy land and should’ve been prepared for every possible situation? Other PUBLIC universities changed assessments much faster than varsity college, and out in measures that ensures the integrity of the assessments such as making them access a software so that an a person can watch students write so ensure that they are not cheating. Varsity colleges response to this is “that we have not tried and tested it” well then when will you? You’ve had more than enough time to do this and look into it If you keep telling us what other universities are doing so you can do it to. How can you as an institution be so confident and ensure us that we will not be going through the exact same thing in December? Will you then expect us to write both first and second semester assessments on 2020?

With the fees that we pay and we would expect that you should put that money somewhere useful and plan for these uncer*****ies.
