Unfair Treatment and Wrongly Informed

I was misinformed/misadvised by a representative from VCAssist. I had app**** for a Saftey Net Exam and was to write the exam in Mid-January. I called several days before writing to confirm if there was anything else I could do if I was not able to write. She advised me to do a special exam, so I was under the impression that I could do it. And I told her that I would apply for it and she confirmed it on email

They then declined my application and gave me a policy excuse that was not there before i had app****. I appeald and mentioned that i was misinformed and it was not my fault. This Insitituion does not have any regard for their students and i know this because i am not the only student who has a problem like this with them. I know of another student who called beforehand but was told that there were no dates for her after they had approved her application.

This module is the only one hindering me from completing my Honours Degree and graduating this year and i am hopeful that there is definitely another alternative besides reregistering for the module. I have no means to reapply as i have not been working due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
