Unfair practices at Varsity College Sandton

<p>Hi.</p> <p><br />i app**** for a mishap exam last year November for my Economics 1B mondule. The request was approved and I was then referred to look at the PAS for the Mishap exam date. Like many 1st year students, I looked at the date next to the Mishap row. However, I received an email in January, found out on Monday 16th January that I was meant to write exam sitting 2 which was on the 18th and that I should not have looked at the the date next to the mishap exam date. This makes absolutely no sense. why put Mishap- (date) on the form if we are not meant to look at that date?</p> <p>I emailed my HOD Jessica explaining and asking how this situation can be resolved, she told me I had no choice but to write the exam sitting 2 and she could not allow me to write my exam in the 3rd sitting. Jessica a day before I sent my email had granted my friend, who had made the same mistake (like many of us) permission to write her missed paper in Exam Sitting 3. How is this fair? How does Jessica deny me (and possibly other students) a chance to write my exam in the next sitting but give another student permission? I am saddened by this. </p> <p> </p> <p>Please could someone help me ASAP.</p> <p> </p>
