Please be kind to everyone | Equally.
I have had a terrible experience with this institution... They have really made me realize that no matter how much the world changes for the better, somethings will never change and the way you will be treated, will be according to where you come from, how much money you have.
Varsity College is a great place to go study, I won't take that away from it. It's just the people who are in the Frontline, mostly 'students' helping other students and a huge gap of or should I rather say, that no one knows what they are doing, not idea how to do anything, no one takes responsibility for anything, including the heads of the departments. Everything always ends up in 'did you check this? The company does not allow this.. I will transfer you to-I will ask them to call you back since no one answered the phone, and when you get a call from them, they don't know how to help you and they will also get someone to call you back and they never do. But don't pay them.... You will see flames, threats, be blocked for the whole year just doing your school work, submitting your work and never getting to see how you are doing well or not like me... Because that is what happened to me. Totally blind and not even once someone asked if this is not affecting you negatively or not?
I have complained about my treatment and I complained about the lecture on how I have been ill treated, but you know what happened, they cover for each other and totally disregard their students in trouble, in need for educational support and tell you about a clause in the contract that doesn't even exist. I am currently struggling to submit my supplementary exam for one of my modules that I got and I didn't know cause I was blocked from seeing anything, I would have missed it. One of the students got it and asked me if I had any, hence I called their nightmare process.
I am still not sorted out with the link to submit, HOD ignored my email again, for me to send it via email so she can mark it, hopefully I pass it and leave the institution and hopefully come back when I get a job and be able to pay. I only failed to pay for my second year fees because I lost my job due to the Covid-19, I don't owe anything for my first year, I paid. I know I'm not the only one who has had a difficult year and still is... My concern or rather my problem is that this institution does not treat everyone equally and it really does not care about me. I just want to submit my SUP before they handover my account and ended up with another problem from lawyers, and ended with a fail for missing the chance to submit. I don't understand why can't they just send me my statement of results, or unblock me for 1 day, just to see how I did....
And then keep my certificate until I pay them.
I hope they never experience this emotional and depressing situation anywhere, not even for their loved ones because that kind of treatment has really left a painful memory in my mind and mostly to my mother.
