Unfairness

Varsity College has no accomodation for any student issues. They expect students to accomodate their ever-changing newsletters and rules. Hoever,they disregard any request from students and the lecturers are nowehere to be found when in need of help. The deadline for my assignment was Monday 28 June. I became ill a week prior and app**** for extension. As NOTHING came from VC i did the assignment and submitted it a day before the deadline.(27 June) . The platform for submission only provided one link. I submitted and found out a day layer that it was the wrong link amd that my assignment will be capped at 50 percent. As I am a top achiver and among the top 10 in my group,this was an issue so I emailed to sort it out. NOWHERE does it state that there is a hidden link that will only appear after the student declares something. It states it nowhere. There was a link avaialable and despite eventually testing Positive for Covid I submitted on time!(a day early in fact). I find it distressing that even as a covid positive student,still submitting on time,even though they have not responded to my request for extension,as they decline all of them always anyway,that VC cannot accept my assignment and mark ot fully. This is absolutely disgusting. If you are going to hide links somewhere,it is YOUR responsibility to inform students thereof. They have no compassion and try to be as spiteful as they can. We are in a pandemic and we all are trying our utmost to do things correclty and that is exaclty whatbI did. I don't expect any good to come from this. Except for debiting my bank account every month,they do not ever accept any accountability and blame shoft to not have to deal with anybissues.
