Business , not a school

I am pretty certain, Varsity College has been receiving negative comments, but the question is are they trying to address the issues? Certainly not, as no change is visible in how they do things. But one thing for sure this will catch up to them. This Institution focuses more on money than education, they do not have student’s interest at heart, you cannot say you are a learning institution when you only focus on profits and money , and this is really saddening. My mom opted to pay off my sister’s school fees in just 6 months, which meant she had to pay R10660 every month, mind you the first 3 months she paid without being behind, as we all know life happens( which Varsity College clearly doesn’t understand), she was late when it came to the 4th payment and they decided to stop my sister’s portal from working (meaning she can’t write her tests/exams etc.) , and what was surprising is that this happened even though my mom made arrangements with them that she will pay soon and they said it was okay. I then went to go pay the R10660 which was in arrears , I get to the finance office and they are helping a young lady , as I’m sitting there I hear that she also has finance problems, they telling her she cannot attend classes. Varsity college needs to stop treating students like debtors, but actual students. Life is inevitable, you need to understand that. Their buildings are more like offices, it gives of corporate energy which is what they are all about, Varsity college needs to just close and open other ventures, education not being one of them. I encourage everyone to just work hard in high school and go to a Public university, do not go to a private college just because your marks allow you to go, rather upgrade your subjects after matric and go to a Public university, these kind of issues aren’t present there, you can still attend classes and write your assessments, tests and exams when you have outstanding fess. One thing about varsity college is that when you pay your fees, then everything is okay but the moment you are unable, the treatment is different. Well-off people can send their children to varsity college, they can afford to yes , and it’s okay to send your kids to Varsity College , but if you know that you not financially stable, do not disadvantage your children and yourself by taking them to Varsity College , they do not care about you, trust me they don’t and this is the harsh truth. If they did , I could’ve been discussing a different story. It’s so sad because you look at the university dropout rate in South Africa, these are the reasons , I mean if they decide that they lock/close your portal then you don’t write your tests/exams you fall behind right? What happens when you fall behind? You stress out , the workload becomes to much and unbearable. The result ? Dropping out. Varsity College has the right mentality for profitable businesses not education, Open businesses , Close schools. All they are good at is replying to reviews but where is the CHANGE? WHERE IS THE CHANGE??
