Graduation ceremony

On the 28th of May 2024 I attended my graduation ceremony at Hatfield Christian Church. I have never been so disappointed so much in my life. As an online student I choose Varsity Collage Pretoria because Iam a resident of the province. According to my academic record I had obtained more than 15 distinctions. To my shock during the ceremony, I was never acknowledged on stage that Iam a distinction graduate to which I brushed it off. However, what really upset me the most is when I had to collect my certificate back stage, I was given a copy that did not indicate I passed with a distinction. In that moment my world fell apart cause I was told that VC had an error. As a result, they will have to re-print my certificate to indicate that I graduated with distinctions. Firstly no one from VC communicated with me to indicate that I will not be receiving my certificate on the 28th of May to give me the option that I should not attend the ceremony. The ceremony left a bitter taste in my mouth as I had worked really hard to obtain my result, not to be acknowledged for my distinction verbally or even on paper on that day. Regards student ST***8
