VARSITY COLLEGE : Terrible admin and service

My wife recently signed up for a qualification at Varsity College. It has been a nightmare ever since - starting from the system not picking up / registering the modules to payments not registering on the system and "unable to be tracked".

The person that ATTEMPTED to help us, did so to what seemed as good as he could. However, he cannot control other departments and has been constantly putting out fires because of various people having similar issues, as he mentioned during a discussion with me. A process for registration that you could supposedly do only online, took us an ADDITIONAL trip to their Cape Town campus to PARTIALLY resolve.

My wife still does not have access to their student portal (MyVC Student Intranet), she still has not received her timetable for this year (the semester has already started) and the issue regarding the money she has already paid them has not been resolved and still has not been traced. They make use of Ozow so I don't know which of the two parties are doing a pathetic job when it comes to processing payments. We already made 3 payments: the registration fee (which is reflecting), and 2 other payments of roughly R8000 (unsure of the exact amount) which is not reflecting on their system, nor being tracible by their excuse of a accounts department.

I had 0 problems at UNISA when I did my BSc. I registered for my qualification, registered my modules, made the required payments and was able to access their portal, all within a DAY or 2 and UNISA supposedly is the worst when it comes to admin.

In short, if you are a new student and want to focus on your actual studies, go to a University. Don't waste your time and money with Varsity College.
