Unhappy, unanswered student.

I am so disappointed and angry at the way things seem to be handled at Varsity College.

I am a third year Bcom student, and I must say after my three year experience I would not recommended studying here at all. Varsity College has it pros but that "you are not a number" slogan that VC pitches is nothing but utter nonsense.

There are an array of issues that I've had with Varsity College this year but the one that I recently experienced has to be the cherry on the cake.

I app**** for a remark for one of my modules. I then later had some issues and grievances that I made known with regards to the remark and strongly believed that either no remark took place or that it was not done as it should have. I of course had plenty of proof and evidence of sorts that backed up my theories.

I then took this to the AOC, and asked that my grievances be looked at and some anwers could be given, so that I can have piece of mind.

No answers could be given, it turned into a back and forth of sorts.

I was then told to come see someone today that could help me.

And to my surprise, I was not the only student there that had this issue regarding the remark. We were both called in and this was when I thought matters could be resolved.

The apparent attitude that was given to me and the other student, they tone in which I was spoken to, the way we were spoken was HUMILIATING to say the lease and were made to feel inferior. "You complain too much, and always complaining, you should study more and focus on other things" were some of the exact words told to me. Words and statements that had nothing to do with the matter at hand.

Me and the fellow student came to look at our papers but excuses where made and we could not see them (this after we were told that we could by the AOC).

After all this, still no answers and this just helps fuel my case further. The integrity of VC is highly questioned and the manner that I and my fellow student was dealt with was DISGUSTING.

Am I not suppose to voice my grievances if I have any? As a student am I not meant to ask questions and hopefully help could be given? So I must just keep quite? Otherwise I'm considered a nuisance? Feel like taking this further.

Not happy at all.
