NEED HELP AND MERCY

I have been having an ongoing problem since the middle of September . I had submitted my assignment through safe assign through the school's computer (which everybody uses and to everyone's knowledge, technology is easily broken) and had left the computer to quickly go and hand in the hard copy ON TIME like I do every other time an assignment needs to be handed it. Since then I got an email saying that I did not submit through safe assign but then the hard copy is received. So I provided a screenshot of my safe assign and since then they have been changing AOC's like changing underwear. The person who I sent the Screenshot to said that she was on leave. I then went straight to the office for weeks since the day of the assignment due date to enquire about this. Early this October month (with still the changes of AOC's happening) I got one who said I can apply through the student hub for an appeal, bear in mind that I'm a FIRST YEAR IIE student and I am still getting around as to what I need to do in order to get this assignment marked. I should have been notified and done this option of appealing ages ago because of the "5 working days" policy that they have

My mother is a single parent who nearly can afford my school fees as they are extremely high. Varsity College is a good school however has no sympathy for any child coming from an average/low income trying to make it in life. Even the Bursary I got was not enough to cover most of my mother's school expenses. It is hard because I'm writing on the 15th and this matter has yet to be solved. All I ask for is for my assignment to be marked. On their records it shows that the safe assign submitted on the following day. I am literally torn by this because this would mean that I would have to repeat a module I KNOW I could pass now!
