*********** staff at Varsity College

The Varsity College Cape Town staff members and registration team have continuously proven how *********** they are by delaying my registration process. I registered online on the 4th of January and no one processed my registration until I had to phone them about it on the 15th of January (they’ve never taken this long to process my registration before ). To make things worse , the registration deadline was on the 17th and my registration still hadn’t been officially confirmed, meaning I was subjected to a R2000 late registration fee which was completely out of my control.

In addition to this, I had opted for the 10 month payment plan option and the person dealing with my registration agreed to this. However, when I went to VC to finalise my registration yesterday, the registration team decided to tell me that they cancelled out that form of payment for international students. When I asked them why they waited so long to tell me this , their excuse was “it was introduced early this year”. This omission of information is extremely unprofessional and is such an inconvenience . I have had more bad experiences with this campus than good ones but this experience is one that is extremely unforgivable.
