Deregister and Refund of my daughters fees.

My daughter registered for the academic year, she was given firstly wrong advice about her registration. What she needs to pay monthly, than she went to campus and attended class for a second year journalist student. Then attended second year media lecture. I went to the principal and he assured me that he will see to it that she gets attended too. My daughter attended third year law student lecture(she registered for Higher Certificate in Communication). I requested a refund and for her to be deregistered, they informed me that I am liable for the fees. I followed up and was informed that the committee must first decide. What I do not understand, when I paid the money, there was no fighting involved, they accepted it without any hassles. The first semester is over and she has nothing to prove, no assignments, not even any notes in her book. Why must it be a process to refund me and deregister my daughter? I just want to forget about Varsity College. How difficult can that be?
