Husband went to put an order in on the nr7 Hamper, went he got there he asked the person who assited him with packing the hamper if we can do an exchange on some of the meat as I am not allowed to eat any pork (due to health issues), we always have done the exchange to the same worth as what the pork cost and it has never been a problem, he was rudely told we dont do that, as he was thinking for other alternatives he was asked again rudely do you want it or not, he took the hamper as he thought he will make another plan to get rid of the pork. When he got to the tills the lady was standing there allone, he asked if he can pay, she said no, because some other client came to put down some of his meat and she already started to scan, the other client was walking through the store doing his shopping, my husband asked the lady well can you not void it as it look like the client is going to take a while. She rudely told my husband no, she cant he must wait, he waited additional 20 min for the other person to finish his shopping before he could pay and caused me to be late for my appointment I had just after. I left a message on FB to get a hold of the owner and the message was removed and still no contact was made. It wont surprise me it the same rude person is handeling the FB page and remived my message before someone notices it. Haveing a busy company does not mean you can handle clients so rudely, it is still a customer service industry and as a manager of a service industry I feel that the owner must be made known how clients are being treated. We have been supporting VanniVrystaat for many years and even recommended them to high-end clients of mine. I would like to tell the owner that last month was the last time that we supported his business, and will also never recommended his business to anyone else. We are told to support the local businesses and help the small business establishments, but not when people receive such services. Unfortunately that is where your money lies, good customer services, doesn't matter how good your product is, if the services is bad, people intend to leave. And to the employees that gave that services, my message to you, no one likes working on public holidays, but you know, that is where your company makes money, and if you look after the company that you work for the company looks after you, if the company does not make money then they close down and you are without work. A little kindness goes a long way.
