Vannie Kaap is Kaak

Would be a negative review if I could.

So disgusted with the service. VK has no ethics or any business sense. Ashamed to be from Cape Town.

Placed an order 31 Jan 2022 for collection and confirmation indicated 10-14 working days.

I followed up on the 9 feb 2022 & indicated it was for family visiting from Canada. (Yes Great Gift idea) Response received on the 16th feb 2022 apologising as they don’t have stock.

Rep**** on the 17th feb 2022 asking what items are in stock and give an ultimatum of cancelling order.

Response received on the 20th feb apologising and indicating another 7-10 days for the order. Even gave a 15% discount code.

Responded on the 21st feb 2022 CANCELLING MY ORDER. Since the family was leaving shortly I had to source T-shirts from Cape Gate store with pathetic LIMITED stock. Basically only 4 prints available in large almost no mediums and no small sizes.

Total spend is now over R2,5k.

Received a response on the 22nd feb, expressing their “sincerest apologies” and noted my refund will be processed in 7days. Also Asking for banking details. (Sent immediately) and a response received on the 23rd saying “thank you”.

Emails send 17 Mar with a response on the 18th March indicated another 7day and confirming reciept of bank detail. Other emails sent 28 March and 5 April was not privileged enough to even receive a response.

Mense as all Capetownians will say: Cash is King. Never trust this company with your money without handling the product. “The Aunty down the road always says next month”.

Vannie Kaap will run with your money, be careful.
