Vanish is bleach free....think again

I bought the Vanish liquid white product to use on my husband's Bogart shirts which the garment label said do not bleach but Vanish clearly states chlorine bleach free. After doing the recommended 10 minutes test nothing happened so I soaked the shirts for just under 4 hours. What came out of that was the shirts turned yellow. I called and emailed Vanish customer care and a Mr Sidrat Qureshi assumed that I had not had not done the test and while their products are chlorine bleach free it does have bleaching agents in it and therefore because my garment said so not bleach and I did use Vanish it was my negligence. How should I know that that while the front of the bottle states bleach free that there are in fact bleaching agents in this product. I am so upset and frustrated at their lack of accountability and the assumptions made on their part while my garments are extremely expensive and now damaged because of their misleading information. Something as important as Do Not Use on garments that state Do Not Bleach should be printed on their label
