Waiting forever for a very flimsy product

We ordered a bunk bed in October 2015. We were promised a delivery time of 4-6 weeks. It became a nightmare of a story, but eventually the product was delivered end of February 2016! In the interim we heard a myriad of excuses why it could not be done previously - of course always other people's fault. According to Keith even the delivery company messed up - and due to the delay of delivery by several months, the original delivery quotation was no longer valid, so we had to pay an upmark of approx. ZAR 1000 just for that! But most problematic is the product itself. Very flimsy execution and poor quality. The paint work is completely unsatisfying. Already when we assmebled the bed, from tilting it up (strictly according to instructions), one corner of the foot started splintering (due to the own weight of the bed). The bunk bed is wobbling constantly like being on a ship in a storm. When we assemble the bed, and when I saw the *****s to keep the beds up in place, I really got scared. Tiny *****s - compared to all other furniture I assembled, there is no way this can hold! Given it is a bunk bed, where children are playing on, at times several ones, there is no way this is going to hold strong. Imagine a child being on the lower bed and kids playing on the upper and the whole thing falls on top of that child below! Also the stairs attached to the side of the bunk bed used the same *****s. It took precisely one month for them to rip out! My case was confirmed! One month for something that is supposed to hold 10 years! So I myself went buying longer and stronger *****s and started fixing up what Vanilla Rose had bungled. I hope it will now at least make a few years - and no accident will happen after my reinforcement...
