My worse experience at Vanguard
I had worse experience when moving out of Vanguard, I have informed the management a month before that I wanted to move out in the next month, I have sent them a mail as they instructed me, got a reply and was informed that my debit will be was terminated. We have set an appointment with Rodger(Body Corporate) to come and view the unit and check for damages, Rodger never honour our appointment instead he told me that he got other appointments, he didn't bother to phone me, I was the one who kept on phoning him with my airtime. I asked him if its okay to leave keys at the security, he the said no, he told me to leave it at the window and wright a mail that states that I left the keys at the window, I did exactly as he said. Two months later, got an email that shows an outstanding amount of R7440, which include a full amount of rent for June and paint of almost the whole unit. The was no marks on the walls or even scratches when we left that unit, i don't know why they painted almost the whole unit, the was no pictures of that unit before and after leaving at(for reference) and Rodger didn't come to do an inspection, i don't know why they waited for two months to inform me of such. A week after the mail, they then deducted R2500 from my account. I was shocked because two months earlier they have confirmed a cancellation of debit order via an email, i didn't understand why they still had an access to my hard earned money. And why they have only deducted R2500 without even alerting me?
