Worst service ever!
Me and my classmate had to wait for about three weeks to recieve our books.Meanwhile we had to to write tests.this is unacceptable and when we finally went to fetch out books they had sold one,AND IT WAS ON ORDER.the cashiers had made a an account mistake also and the price of the books increased during the three weeks we were supposedly waiting for them.hence having to add our own money onto the balance that our bursary paid.having to keep up with our sponsors we had to skip our first tests because we were writing open book tests and this was not possible without our text books.Today feels like the worst day of our lives because we are so behind in our course and have given up on hope because we have tests everyday of this week and do not have enough time to catch up on our studies.please improve your services in order for other students who also have accounts there do not go through this because it is just brutal.Bare in mind it was not our choice to purchase books here, our sponsor works with this book shop.trusting them and yet they failed us.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We apologise that the waiting period was so long, but we are unfortunately dependent on suppliers for stock.
We take full responsibility for not keeping both textbooks aside. About the price difference, especially with overseas books, it's determined by exchange rates and it's stated on our quotes that prices are subject to change. However, when bursary students request it, we do look at the situation and see if we can accommodate them.
I believe you are a student at UJ and understand from the Manager at Braamfontein that we arranged a copy of the textbook at our UJ store to try and rectify the situation.
We addressed the matter on a managerial level to prevent future incidents.
Kind regards
