Van Shaik #absoluteshockingservice

Dear Van Shaik, about order N*** 5 December 2023 I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received from your sales consultant, Jessica Padayachee.

I placed an order for textbooks and paid for these, 5 December 2023 for the upcoming school year, starting 16 January 2024 and unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of shocking. I paid for the books well in advance, expecting a smooth and timely delivery. However, to my dismay, the books have not arrived as promised, and the new school year is just around the corner.

I would like to highlight the following issues that have contributed to my frustration:

Late Delivery: The promised delivery date, 10 January 2024 has passed, and there is still no sign of my order. This delay is causing significant stress as I prepare for my son's start of classes. I was also informed, 13 January 2024 by Jessica, that due to Van Shaik not paying their supplier, thus why delivery has not occurred and thus while you hold my full payment since 5 December 2023.

Lack of Communication: I have not received any communication regarding the delay or an updated delivery timeline. It is disheartening to see a lack of transparency and accountability in your customer service and how Jessica, finds this poor service as acceptable.

Impact on Academic Preparedness: As a student, having access to the required textbooks is crucial for academic success. The delay in receiving the books is affecting my child's ability to adequately prepare for the upcoming semester and how Van Shaik and their staff deem this as service?! #noservice #unhappyclient

I understand that unexpected issues may arise, but the lack of communication and failure to meet the promised delivery date is unacceptable. I urge you to address this matter urgently and provide a detailed explanation for the delay. Additionally, I request a resolution that includes a revised delivery date and, if necessary, compensation with interest for the inconvenience caused.

If these issues are not addressed promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate my complaint through to the NCR and consider alternative sources for my academic materials in the future.

I trust that you will take this matter seriously and work towards a swift resolution.
