Rather physically go to the store

I’m giving 2 stars only because the physical Van Schaik stores have always been reliable, and my books were eventually delivered — even though it took a full week despite paying for express shipping twice.

The online service, however, is genuinely **********. There was no meaningful communication, no proactive updates, and the tracking information was vague and unhelpful. I received generic, copy‑and‑paste email responses that didn’t address any of the concerns I raised, and the phone agent was unprofessional and provided contradictory information. It also seemed like my orders were only dispatched after I followed up.

The online platform desperately needs improvement. As it stands, ordering online feels stressful, unreliable, and not worth the extra money for “express” delivery. I hope they take this feedback seriously, but based on my experience, I don’t have much confidence that anything will change.
