pathetic putrid service

if ever you are looking to buying books online, never use this van schaik online store. i ordered a book for my child's schooling, when i placed the order the delivery time was 3-5 working days. having received no communication i called in on the 5th day only to be told that they dont even have the book in stock, they are waiting for it to be sent to them because they dont keep books by them because they are online. How do you sell items you dont have in stock? why would you state the delivery time is up to 5 days whe it now almost 10 days and i still dont have my book. my second issue is they wanted to do a refund, but they only refund once a week and i missed the refund run so i have to wait a week for my money back. How does that even work, because in order for me to place an order I have to make an immediate payment, but I have to wait a week for my dam money to be refunded.

I had no help from the person i spoke to on the phone, she just maintained i m ust wait for the book, or i can go to my nearest store and buy it there. Now if I wanted to do that I would have gone to a store, I paid for the convenience of a delivery so that I dont have to go out of my way to go buy a book.

the level of service of this place i find disgusting and totally unacceptable, considering i paid for this item upfront. the least you as a company can do is be honest about the amount of time it takes to get a delivery. I will never do business with this place again, even if they are the only store that has what im looking for.
