Horrid service at Van Schaik Bookstore online

If there was a zero, this is what I would have rated. I ordered and paid for school textbooks on 04 January 2024, with the understanding that I would receive them within 3-5 working days at my selected Pargo store. To date there has not been an attempt to communicate or update me on anything. Out of panic I called them on 3 Jan 2024, only to be told by Busi that two of the books were out of stock, but the rest are with the courier and due for delivery on the next day. She assured me I would receive an SMS. Needless to say, No sms received, I again called them at 3pm on the 12 Jan 2024, where a different agent tell me the books were only requested from another branch yesterday (obviously triggered by my call. They have no customer care, no redress, still no estimated time of delivery, and school opens on the 17 Jan 2024! I am beyond appalled at the disservice! I guess I should buy the same books from another store so my kids are not disgraced on Wednesday, then fight the battle of receiving the money from Van Schaik! Clearly money grows on trees!! This was the first and definitely will be the last that I buy anything from Van Schaik!
