Incorrect Information

I have receive an SMS yesterday with an ref number to contact them, what I did. I have been handed over by a doctor for the oustanding amount R260 rand since 2017. When I spoke to the lady I told her how is it possible and that I am not going to pay as I did not receive any statements or phone call from the doctor to date. She then mail me the correspondise list off sms and emails that has been send to me. I contacted her back and told her that first of all the contact number is incorrect and the email address as well, not even one statement was send to my home address. I also told her that my son receive two sms's from the doctor and he did not mention it to me as the sms's was not addressed to anyone just tell you to pay amount so and so into account number. I have ask the lady to go back to the doctor and tell them that I don't mind to pay the R260 but I am not going to pay the attorneys fees. She offered be a 30% discount. I then ask her to go back to the doctor and sort this out, and all that she can tell me is they will tell her that I must pay, then I told her that I will contact them. Still waiting for a responce from both parties.

Once again with all the ***** that is going around how is it possible that we can still receive sms just to inform you to pay an amount in a account number or contact them.
