Get rich quick Debt Collections

Their business ethics leaves much to be desired. I was handed over for a medical bill of R857 which I noted on my credit profile. The long and short of it I called in to enquire and they gave me a bill of R1957 with all sorts of charges for calls/consultations which never took place because my contact number in their database is incorrect, no emails except for now one email since I contacted them. My argument is with all said how do I incur charges that are more than the capital amount (R857)? All they do is get you chased by their Collections which applies no brains to whatever one may say...
