ARROGANT EMPLOYEES AND NOT HONOURING ARRANGEMENTS

Van Rhyns attorneys in Alberton is also a company who don’t do their homework regarding payments from handed over accounts and is very rude over the phone, interrupting one when trying to explain the situation. Only the one lady there has manners and has empathy, unfortunately I can’t remember her name, the one who called me first. ER Consultants handed me over to Van Rhyns attorneys after I made payment arrangements with them, after I paid since the arrangement, but they did not update my account, after I received an invoice from them more than a year later of incident. Van Rhyns attorneys phoned me on 10/11/2023 saying I was handed over to them and must pay up. I explained to them I had a payment arrangement with ER Cons and did pay as arranged for 3 months already, but first also had to argue with the nice lady, because they don’t listen to one’s explanation first. A new payment arrangement was now made with van Rhyns attorneys as they were adamant that I am now handed over and had to deal and pay them directly. I wrote a review on Hallo Peter regarding ER Consultants non-existing service and someone at First Care saw it and made work of it sending me a mail and an ER Cons invoice stating, “bad debt written off” with a “zero amount owing by member”. I sent this to Van Rhyns, querying what the situation is now about the payment as it was month-end and it seems to me that the account is cleared now. Van Rhyns attorneys told me that it is only written off on the books but I still owe the outstanding amount sending me a balance letter in seconds, which states that the balance is only valid for 7 days, so the payment arrangement was thrown out of the window by Van Rhyns just as with ER Consultants. I IMMEDIATELY PAID THE FULL OUTSTANDING AMOUNT, sent them proof of payment twice (2 days apart as I know it will only show in a day or 2) and also asked them who gets the money that seems to be paid into a trust??? They did not bother to answer me. Two days after FULL PAYMENT WAS MADE and proof of payment was sent to Van Rhyns, they sent me a payment reminder e-mail. Again, they did not do their job in checking to see if payment was made, AFTER I sent them proof of payment twice. Total ignorance. It was never my intention not to pay this account, I felt that the said service providers and companies did not do their job, after I tried to contact them and then demanded payment, which I could not pay in full at that stage. ER Consultant and Van Rhyns attorneys have no respect for ones circumstance and do not honour arrangements or bother to read important e-mails, they just react handing one over, getting letters of demand, balance letters, stating valid for 7 days, when one enquires about something, after payment arrangements were made. Luckily, I received my settlement letter from them, but also had to ask for it twice. Hope I never have to deal with them EVER, not with ER CONSULTANTS (TOTAL INCOMPETENCE) and also NEVER WITH VAN RHYNS ATTORNEYS again.
