Service Failure: A Disastrous Experience with No Accountability!

I am beyond furious with the disgraceful treatment from this company! Sharing attorneys between buyers and sellers is a colossal mistake, and I wouldn’t wish that nightmare on anyone—there’s a blatant conflict of interest that makes the entire process a joke!

We signed the bond documents on the 12th of September with Phumelele (Sandton branch) and were reassured it would be ready for lodgement the following Monday. Yet here we are, two weeks later, with no communication or feedback on delays! We were informed that the property we were purchasing would be registered in time, but just a week before month-end, we were suddenly told they’re fumbling to get the necessary documents from COJ. Now, thanks to their incompetence, the sellers are stuck paying another month of rates, taxes, and levies due to their delay!

People have been reaching out for updates, and I’ve heard from them that the staff has been incredibly rude in response. This is absolutely unacceptable! Initially, we were assured it would take just a day to lodge everything, and they claimed to understand the inconvenience—this is all on record, by the way. Yet, we’re drowning in unanswered emails, receiving no feedback on the delays. If I could give a zero rating, I absolutely would!
