Potential ***** and no assistance!

My wife received a phone call from a number registered under VanderMerweduToit attorneys based in Pretoria. On enquiry it was stated that they were calling with regards to a registration of my bond. We are currently not buying any property and found this very alarming. When I contacted VanderMerweDuToit, I explained that I am not buying a house and there should be no reason for getting calls from them. I requested they checked who called us, they refused to assist unless we gave them the name of the person who we spoke to!<br> <br> How would we have known if we phoned them back on this number after several missed calls? I then asked to speak to the Supervisor who told me that I should not make my problem his. As their company might be implicated by a ********** act, knowingly or unknowingly. I found there service delivery and willing to assist extremely poor. Surely , having phoned us or having a data basis it would have been easy for them to check there records/ systems if we have a registration pending with them and clearing the situation. There excuse was that they had 100 employees and they would not know who contacted us! Ridiculous in today's electronic and systems environment.
