settlement letter

In 2013 February I was garnisheed by Van De Merwe Attorneys on behalf of African Bank. Now when I want a clearance letter they are telling that they closed the case in 2015, when I contacted African Bank they told me that on that account I still owe them R4058. These Attorneys are refusing to tell me what happened with the money they deducted, they advised me to pay what African Bank wants from me.
