Gerda only cares about her money. Stuff your sentimental jewellery

I took a Heather Gem (which I obtained in Scotland so it was very sentimental to me) to VDBJ to be put into a silver band. Unfortunately, VDBJ was ****** and my gem was ******. Gerda said she would make me an "even more beautiful" ring for me to make up for the fact that my ring was ****** on her premises. So I ordered another gem from Scotland and took it to Gerda to be put in silver. I collected the "finished" ring last week and am not pleased.

The gem had been damaged beyond repair, its completely destroyed, the workmanship on the silver band is sloppy and unacceptable. I told Gerda that I would like to be reimbursed for all the costs I have incurred with this ring and that she could collect her ring, as I am not willing to give her another opportunity to make up for the fact that she has been messing me around for three weeks.

She told me that the ring she had provided was "100%" and that she would reimburse me only to ship another gem to South Africa and that I could set the gem in the ring myself, its not that difficult apparently (don't know when I became a jeweller because I paid her to do that)

The minute I told Gerda I was unhappy with the ring she turned on me. I have incurred costs far more than what the ring is worth and Gerda has now decided to run away from the responsibility she has to her clients.

I have now had to contact attorneys to assist me in the reimbur*****t process.

This woman seems to not give a hoot about anyone's sentimental jewellery
