I phoned this company for a quote on a Complete part to repair my washing machine with. The part was R1600. So I took some time to think about it. As it was a 60 - 90 day waiting period for the part to be imported.

I then decided to phone Van Biljoens again to see what they could do for me.

They picked up the machine, and didn’t contact me again for about two weeks.

I then phoned and messages them to no avail, after another week, I was a little frustrated of waiting, I phoned again, the lady wasn’t very interested in helping me With my query, but I was patient and got Told, that they were simply going to solder the same part back on the Mother board as it was one tiny transformer, without giving me a quote, or telling me how long it would take.

Another week went by, and then another.

I phoned back to hear when I can perhaps have a working machine back, the lady was again not very eager to help Me at all, I was told they were STILL busy with the machine they will call me when they are done, THIS after so many weeks of phoning after them time and time again!!!!!

So at last I get the phone call, the lady told me that her guys have loaded my machine they’re ready for delivery, but she wants payment first, so I asked sure how much would it be, very excited to get my machine back as you can Imagine. So I get informed that the total would be R2800. FOR SOLDERING A TINY PART BACK ON THE SAME BOARD???!!!!

Ridiculous I thought!!!! I asked to explain to me how this could be, she was not at all interested, bluntly told me, ag then she won’t be able to deliver...

I was SHOCKED!!! The whole MOTHERBOARD to be IMPORTED was R1600.

I don’t have that money laying around as I am a single mom, and the only provider... so I kindly asked If I could perhaps pay it off within 2 weeks, “Fine” she told me, and I started making plans to pay this as i have MOUNTAINS of laundry and by this time feel very frustrated...

I payed R500 right away, got no messages no emails, NOTHING!!! PATHETIC!!!!

Today, I payed the remaining R2300 straight, and asked them to please please deliver my machine I cannot live like this anymore, so the woman tell me there is another R322 I have to pay on ALL of that??? For SOLDERING the SAME SH@T back on there?????? I don’t understand how any establishment could treat customers in such a manner???

It’s UNFATHOMABLE to me, how ****** like these could EVER have done people in with THAT name FOR SO LONG???

I would NEVER EVER recommend these PEOPLE to ANY of my friends, and trust me i have MANY!!!!!

They EXPLOIT people UNDER FALSE SERVICE pretenses and CLAIM to be the best???!!!! I am shocked that they are so TARDY with their customer follow ups. And basically could not care any less, unless they can RUK your wallet!!! Sies!!!!

Never again!!! EVER I could have simply added R200 and got a new one BUT THESE PEOPLE SAID, no we will do it For you without EVER letting me know its going to cost me R3200!!!!
