Bad from start to finish

I had Van Biljoen's collect it my faulty washing machine. They said return trip for collection is R300 and R171 for opening and checking for faults.
My Miele is an 80s model. Lasts forever but once it breaks, it breaks. And parts might be difficult to find. The day the machine was collected, I asked that I be called the next day because ALL I need to know is what is wrong and is it financially viable to fix or should I buy a new machine.
THREE AND A HALF WEEKS of calling them daily...no one called back and their excuse FOR NOT EVEN GIVING A COST ESTIMATE is that there is no stock of parts. I explicitly said just say yes or no to fixing. If it is a washer and costs R10, I will wait. If it is big and R1000+, say it and I will forget about fixing it. NOT A WORD.
Finally get a call - please can they have my email address. Why? To send me the bill. Excuse me? I never gave permission for anything? No says reception - parts will be in the region of R3-4000. Not worth fixing. THIS basic info was known on day one and should have been mentioned. I had to pay R500+ for NOTHING. Claiming it is for petrol to go and dump the machine. PATHETIC service and I'll NEVER recommend you to anyone.
