Value Logistics Claims

On the 12th June 2023 a Value Logistics truck bumped into the side of my wife's car damaging the passenger side mirror. We raised the issue with a Mr. Jacob Baatjies the snr Claims administrator at Value Logistics and explained that we are not doing a formal insurance claim, but will be lodging a claim with Value Logistics in regard this matter. Mr. Baatjies lodged the claim and then requested additional information and documentation from us.

On the 31 July 2023 we got a message back that they will not entertain the claim, as the driver claims my wife veered into the side of the truck. Value Logictics team apparently investigated the incident and based on old Google maps and without even checking the accuracy of their facts, i.e. the markings on the road indicating 2x turn lanes and not 3x as per google, or even checking the road were the accident took place, came to a resolve that they are not paying for damages. I cannot believe a large organization like Value Logistics would base findings on false reports, incorrect information and non-factual evidence.
