Most deplorable experience with a service provider

Never before have I ever had a more horrific experience with a service provider. This company is a complete ***** and the owner Anton is not only a **** but he threatens his customers as well. I employed his services to replace bedroom cupboards at my mother's flat. Not only did he take far longer to cut the boards and start installation of the cupboards but the the boards were cut incorrectly. The doors did not fit the space, he installed no railings, no drawers, the cupboards were fitted next to the curtain railing which meant the doors were not able to open at all. This is after I paid him R10 500, which was 75% of the total cost. When I questioned Anton about the quality of his workmanship, he **** and came up with lame excuses, because in actual fact he had no idea what he was doing. Eventually I got sick and tired of his unprofessionalism and ask him to remove the cupboards and return my deposit. When he refused, I offered him an opportunity to rectify all his mistakes with the cupboards - however he refused that as well. He persisted in threatening my family, demanding the rest of the money. We have since gone to the police to open up a charge of harassment as he called and sent us threatening messages at all parts of the morning. I have had had to employ another service provider and cough up thousands of rands more to complete what Value Interiors could not. If you are in the Durban area, please do not ever consider using his services.
