Vet????? I don't think so!!!

Valley Farm Vet???

My name is Kobus, I brought my cat in on Sunday night because she kept vomiting. The doctor told me and my wife that the cat had the stomach flu and that my cat had to be booked in for the night because she is dehydrated. All good and well I excepted it. I asked the doctor how does payment work. I was told 50% deposit on admission and the other 50% once discarded(R3000).

The next day when we got our cat back she still didn't eat at home and was still vomiting, but I left it up until yesterday 11 October 2017.

My cat had to go through the same process again but this time the same doctor that helped us said now she has a viral infection. Can someone please explain to me how is viral infection and diarrhea close to being the same? This charges will be an estimation of R6000 the doctor said.

The very same doctor wrote on the hospital form that me(Kobus) and my wife do not want them to do all scans cause we cannot afford it! We never said we cannot afford it we just asked how does payment work because we have never been to a vet.

Fine she admitted my cat again but I asked if she can call me to keep me updated with whats happening. I was told sure Sir no problem. No one has phoned me I had to phone in but again no one can speak to me.

I wanted to speak to someone higher up like the practice manager to help me but again I was told she is in a meeting I must call back in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later I phoned and I was told she is not in at all today????

I don't appreciate the kind of service that this vet provide and I wouldn't recommended this VET at all.
